Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. It took her 18 years to make her shop hugely successful, and then closed it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Then, a number of cookbooks were published and she also wrote columns for magazines. The Food Network TV show also debuted with great success. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, tools and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She is known for her easy approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
