Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis Missouri. She is a popular American actor, model and singer. She is best known for her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in films and television shows such as How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She studied dancing at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. When she was three She began her professional acting career as a part of a nationally telecast Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen's acting career slowed to an abrupt halt during a span of 3 years. Momsen was then offered the role as the main character in Misconceptions in the series Misconceptions on WB. Momsen did also appear at that moment in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). She was also among the top three for Hannah Montana, but Miley won the role.
