Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam having Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's clan has roots deep in the American South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of 2. Her family consisted of her mother who was as a pilot in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was raised within Tokyo, Japan. During that time she was involved in many local productions of theater and eventually became a Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia relocated in Los Angeles after the family's return back to America. United States. She pursued her dream of being an actor. After a few small roles and a few small roles, her career took off on another promising step after she secured the part in the role of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist Big Stan (2007).
